As some of you might know I sometimes be a grumpy old fox when it comes to certain things. This time its the subject of electric vehicles. I recently took an interest in them after watching Who Killed The Electric Car (And because gasoline is now over €1.50 (8 USD/Gallon)).



To make a long story short, I suggest you watch the movie. Its actually a quite sad tale, but also a very good example how big oil and big money can in fact kill good innovative ideas. If you do manage it through the movie, I suggest you also watch the TED talk Shai Agassi's bold plan for electric cars (Spoiler: Things are getting better!). If you're already familiar with TED you will know how Godlike it is, and if not you'll be in for a treat!

Oh, and I should also mention that I recently invested in an electric scooter (Does 55 km/h silently, ya!), proving first-hand that its not just a lot of fancy talkin', it words great IRL!

The Post Holiday Depression is kicking in! We're currently sitting in the McCarran airport (LAS) waiting for our flight to New York (JFK). dukefawks is bitching as always and td_fox is enjoying the wonderful delights of star bucks latte. From JFK it's off to Amsterdam (AMS) and for me, onwards to Copenhagen (CPH). ETA Copenhagen 16:00 (CET+1).

Tomorrow me, td_fox and dukefawks are off to Sheffield in the UK. Hopefully traffic won't be too ghastly around London, but something tells me that Murphy is going to strike hard and bad. By any chance we're probably off around 12 which would land us in Sheffield around 22 - hopefully!

In other news I got myself a Dutch phone number (One of those fancy +31 numbers), so in case anyone wants it just poke this post or my Danish number.

Ok, yet another megapost to catch up with what's going on: Yesterday I arrived in Netherlands after a 12 hour drive through Denmark and Germany. On the way we stopped to say hello to sonnypup in Boutange. Christmas was basically very nice. I had td_fox and dukefawks over and we more or less had a nice 'n relaxing couple of days. Had a nice trip to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen where we did a bit of suiting and went to see the Crazy Christmas Cabaret which this year was entitled Bored of the Rings.

Anyway, now is the time to get ready for The Mew Years Party (MYP06). People will start coming already tomorrow it seems, so we need to do the shopping today *yawn*. All parameters indicate a fun couple of days here in the NL!

After Mew Years the three of us are off again to the United Kingdom to say hello to the gang up in Sheffield. I'm very much looking forward to that - despite the fact that it's gonna cold as h***.

In the Further Confusion news everything seems to be falling in place. Me, dukefawks and td_fox will be leaving from Amsterdam Schipol airport on the 17th and the flying of to the United States where swedefur will join us in San Jose. After, hopefully, having a blast at FC we'll head of to Vegas for a few funfilled days of shows, gambling and basically using money in unwise ways! Rooms are booked at the Luxor and tickets are secured for both the Blueman Group and Cirque Du Solei.

Finally, I'll going home again to start school. 2 semesters more and I'll have my undergrad degree! :)
